Bringing employee operations into one system

As our team expanded, employee administration became increasingly important to manage efficiently. Attendance records, project assignments, leave requests, and reporting all played a growing role in day-to-day activities, creating the need for a more structured approach.

To support this growth, we developed our in-house WEN App, an internal platform designed to bring core employee processes together within a single environment

Key Challenges

Disconnected workflows and limited visibility

Many day-to-day activities relied on separate processes and manual administration. Attendance monitoring, employee onboarding, and project tracking required significant coordination, making it increasingly difficult to maintain consistency as the organization grew. 

The system also needed to support different levels of access across administrators, managers, HR personnel, and employees, requiring a flexible permission structure that could adapt to changing organizational requirements.

Solution Approach

A platform built around internal processes

Rather than relying on multiple tools, we created a platform that supports the complete employee lifecycle. From onboarding and attendance tracking to project reporting and leave administration, essential business functions are managed through a single system.

Administrators can define access through configurable roles and permissions, ensuring employees, managers, and HR personnel only see the information relevant to their responsibilities.

System Implementation

Designed for day-to-day workforce management

We developed a custom business application that supports employee administration from onboarding through ongoing team management. 

Few of the key features included:

  • Employee invitation, onboarding, and profile management
  • Attendance tracking with punch in/out workflows
  • Project management with employee assignments and time logging
  • Leave requests, approvals, and balance tracking
  • Configurable dashboards based on roles and permissions
  • Notification and activity logging capabilities

The modular architecture allows additional functionality and workflows to be introduced as internal requirements evolve.

The WEN App replaced fragmented processes with a more structured way of managing employee activities. Staff can access attendance records, submit work logs, request leave, and view relevant company information from a single location.

Managers and department leads can review team activity, monitor project contributions, and handle approvals through clearly defined workflows, reducing the need for manual follow-up and coordination.
